Do Notaries provide legal advice?     ˆ
In word - NO. We are not lawyers; we will not and cannot provide any legal advice. A notary is an IMPARTIAL party, our job is to acknowledge and authenticate the signer of the document.

What areas do you cover?     ˆ
We primarily cover the south side of Tidewater/Hampton Roads; but are also available for the Pininsula and Eastern Shore.

What languages do you speak?     ˆ
One of our members speaks three languages - English, Tagalog & Cebuano.

What should I bring?     ˆ
Generally speaking, you'll need the document(s) to be notarized and a non-expired identification; such as a Drivers license, state issued ID, passport, military ID, and other government issued IDs are acceptable.

Can the notary refuse to notorize a document?
Yes! If the notary feels uncomfortable or feels suspicious about the presented identification; it is his/her right to refuse.

Is there anything a Notary CANNOT authenticate?     ˆ
Virginia Notaries cannot certify copies of birth, death or marriage certificates. You may obtain official certified copies of these documents from the county clerks office where they were filed.

What are your fees?     ˆ
The fee for each natorial act is $5.00 as set forth by the Secretary of the Commonwealth. Other associated fees may include: Service fee (going to your location & time of day), tolls (Chesapeake Bay Bridge & tunnel), or other fees as determined prior to scheduling. Fees are disclosed during scheduling.

This schedule only reflects the Mobile Notary assignment and is not applicable to our other services - those fees are settled upon during the information gathering / analysis phase; and are subject to project scope adjustment as agreed upon during those services. Typically our other services are priced using "Fixed Price" or "Time and Materials" pricing.

What's the Bonsai Tree about?     ˆ
The Bonsai tree is our symbol. To us, the Bonsai tree represents commitment to detail and a desire for perfection. It takes years to grow, manicure and develop a Bonsai tree from its seed to a living piece of art.
